A new player joins the table on High Stakes Poker! In addition to all the usual faces we\u2019ve seen for the past nine episodes, we got to see co-founder of the DoorDash app, Stanley Tang<\/strong>, make his HSP debut on episode 10<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did things work out for Tang? Let\u2019s say it could have been better in an epic duel against Krish Menon for a $590,000 pot<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tang and Menon Compete for a $590,000 Pot<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tang had already been playing for a while when things got interesting in a new game. It was Kenney who got the ball rolling by raising to $3,000 from the early position using a hand of Jack of Spades and 9 of Spades. Tang called using the Ace of Clubs and King of Hearts, while Menon with the 10 of Diamonds and 10 of Clubs made a three-bet from the button up to $13,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kenney called, but it was Tang who raised to $50,000. Unperturbed, Menon shocked viewers by going all-in for $287,000, which forced Kenney to fold, but Tang called and kept his cool. The two players decided to run things twice for the giant $590,500 pot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first run, it was the 10 of Spades, Ace of Hearts, 5 of Hearts, King of Spades, and 3 of Hearts, which didn\u2019t sit at all well for newbie, Tang. On the second run, it would be Menon to gather up the entire pot after the Jack of Clubs, 3 of Clubs, 2 of Hearts, 4 of Diamonds, and Queen of Spades were revealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tang lost with grace, but that\u2019s still got to hurt. There\u2019s no harm in checking out the best sites to play poker online<\/a> if you think that you could have done better than Tang. Of course, things are very different when the cameras are rolling and the heat is on, but cooler heads prevail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Persson Increases His Bluffing Game<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Adelstein joined the action at the High Stakes Poker table by raising to $3,000 in the late position with a hand of 7 of Diamonds and 7 of Clubs, while Tang called on the button with the Queen of Hearts and 10 of Hearts. It was Persson who made a three-bet using the 7 of Hearts and 2 of Spades as the big blind. Adelstein and Tang both called and after the flop arrived as the Queen of Clubs, Jack of Hearts, and 8 of Diamonds, everyone at the table checked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tension was mounting as the turn arrived with the 8 of Spades, and Persson totally bluffed his way to a $22,500 bet to force Adelstein to fold. Tang, meanwhile, called and saw the Jack of Clubs arrive on the river. Persson kept up his bluff of having an amazing hand and raised to $63,000. Tang thought about things for a while but ultimately folded, then had to laugh when he saw that Persson was bluffing all the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
